Went out trolling for Mahi Mahi and other pelagics, but had to cut that short due to sea sickness with a couple of people in our party. Captain Forrest more than made up for that by taking us to a couple of beaches to snorkel. The first beach had several sea turtles and was absolutely gorgeous. The family and I had an amazing time. When we arrived to meet captain Lawrence he asked what we were interested in catching. We told him Mahi Mahi and feel like he did an excellent job of managing the boat and rods that turn out to a pretty successful day. We ended up catching 4 Mahi Mahi, 2 bonitos and several barracudas. Would highly recommend for first time offshore anglers.Very family friendly.

The boat was not equipped with basic fishing finding sonar.  It was old school fishing some 15 to 20 years old.

Captain Lawrence was a good dude. We spent most of the day trolling trying to catch some big marlin, Mahi or wahoo. We didn’t have much luck with that but Lawrence did not let us go home empty handed. We caught some bait and went on the hunt for snapper. Not only did we get snapper but we caught my fiances favorite fish to eat which is strawberry red grouper.

Capt Forrest is a first class guy, fishing was tough but we trolled back and forth searching for good weeds and diving birds. We got into some tuna in the final part of our trip and enjoyed it for dinner this evening. The only reason my rating is not excellent is completely out of his control, the fishing was just slow. The captain was on the phone with people on the water trying to get reports of fish and he did everything he could to put us in the right spot. That’s why they call it fishing... More
