Our recent four-day fishing trip in the South Andaman region was nothing short of spectacular. Joining me on this adventure were Alfred, his guest Kril, and Kril’s father – an incredible father-son duo with a real passion for fishing. The journey had its ups and downs, thrilling moments, and a few heart-stopping battles with the ocean’s finest. Here’s a detailed account of what went down: Day 1: Finding Our Rhythm We set out on the first day with high hopes. The waters were calm, and the conditions seemed promising, but the fishing was on the slower side. We managed to land a few GTs – always a joy to fight these brutes – along with a healthy mix of bonitos, snappers, and groupers. While there were no massive catches to brag about, it was the warm-up we needed to shake off the rust and prepare for the days ahead. Day 2: Big Hookups and Close Calls The second day is where things started to heat up. Early into the session, we landed a stunning 15 kg+ GT that gave us a proper fight. Alongside that, we brought in some beautiful fish, including good-sized emperors and groupers – their colors and power never fail to amaze. But the day wasn’t without its drama. One of the biggest heartbreaks came when a massive grouper dragged the line into the rocks and escaped. Just when we thought the action was over, a monster dogtooth tuna made a run for it. After a long, intense battle, it cut the leader right next to the boat. The frustration was real, but it only added fuel to our determination. Day 3: A Day for the Books Day three was nothing short of legendary. The morning kicked off with relentless action. The highlight of the day (and possibly the trip) was a massive 40 kg+ sailfish that we hooked. The fight was electric, with long, acrobatic runs, but unfortunately, the fish managed to shake the hook before we could land it. The GTs, however, were relentless. Kril’s father led the charge with a 30 kg+ GT, while we also landed two other giants weighing over 20 kg and another solid 10+ kg fish. In total, we brought in 21 GTs by the end of the day. The bite was so hot that every 5-7 casts seemed to result in a hookup. The groupers weren’t left behind either, though they proved trickier to land. A few broke the line during some brutal battles, but that’s just part of the game when targeting these reef-dwelling beasts. Day three ended with wide smiles, sore arms, and the realization that this was one for the history books. Day 4: A Grand Finale Live on Instagram The final day of the trip delivered another round of incredible action – and one unforgettable moment that went live on Instagram! The day started strong with amberjack, yellowfin tuna, and dogtooth tuna joining the mix, giving us a diverse and exciting lineup. But the star of the day (and perhaps the entire trip) was Kril’s father landing a spectacular 35 kg GT, which we captured live on Instagram for all to see. The teamwork between Kril and his father during this battle was remarkable, showcasing their bond and fishing skills. Watching the line peel off the reel and seeing that monster GT come onboard was the perfect culmination of our adventure. The day wrapped up with an amazing haul, great memories, and the satisfaction of ending the trip on such a high note. Final Thoughts This trip was everything a fishing adventure should be – thrilling fights, jaw-dropping fish, and memories to last a lifetime. We had the pleasure of hosting the renowned singer Abby Fizardo and his wonderful family and friends from Mumbai for an unforgettable three days of fishing around the Andaman Islands. The excitement and joy of this adventure were as remarkable as the catches we landed! Day 1: Cinque Islands ?️ Our first day at Cinque Islands started with a bang as we got into a hot bite early in the morning. Abby and his crew pulled in a total of 21 Giant Trevally (GTs), each one putting up a tremendous fight and delivering exhilarating topwater action. In addition to GTs, we landed beautiful coral groupers and even managed a couple of powerful emperor snappers. The excitement on the boat was palpable, and we knew the next two days would be just as thrilling. Day 2: Sir Huge Ross Island ? Our second day took us to the remote waters around Sir Huge Ross Island. The morning session brought a fantastic mix of species, with some heart-pounding moments. Abby hooked into a ferocious dogtooth tuna, which tested his skills and stamina. We also caught sleek and speedy bonitos, adding some fun to the day. The absolute highlight was hooking a massive marlin on light tackle—an incredible experience! The marlin put on an acrobatic show, leaping and pulling line, but ultimately broke free, leaving everyone in awe of its power. Day 3: Rutland Island ? The final day at Rutland Island offered us a memorable finish to this adventure. We hooked into three massive groupers, ranging from 30 to 50 kg, and the fight to land them was intense. Although these giants proved elusive and managed to break free, the thrill of the battle was unforgettable. The lighter tackle setups made the fights even more challenging, and Abby and his friends had their hands full, with laughter and cheers filling the air. We wrapped up the day by soaking in the beauty of Rutland Island and reflecting on an amazing fishing journey. Final Thoughts Abby Fizardo and his crew made these three days truly special. Its a Short fishing trip with 6 of our guest and started around 10 am and reached the islands at 11 am then after half and hour beautiful photography and lunch guest started the casting First few cast by Sahid and a big GT on casting jig caught and released then two more cast his reel started to screem again bigger GT and this time Kuldeep rod also got hit by a Grouper after releasing both fiteeen minute nothing happened so we shifted the Place and Type of fishing towards another island masi the crew was popping and suddenly a big 130-150 kg shark jumped out of water and taking the reel like free drag and masi and everyone was curious we tried to land we took it inside but it was so powerful jumped out and freed himself..then jigging everyone onboard had fish hooked on and just madness after landing 8-10 fishes including tuna golden trevally GT groupers and few lost dogtooth it was 2 pm and we started to move back to islands Was a amaxing trip everyone onboard were crazy excited and happy with evry moments

Mr and Mrs kapoor came onboard with us expecting to catch few GT and We boarded and started the day around 0700 am and went towards south and firs few hours it was low on fishing but ultralight jigging by mr kapoor landed continuously 9-10 moontail groupers that after four continues catches of moon tail we knew it was the moontail only after good breakfast at 0900 we resumed fishing and popping started and thus mr and mrs kapoor hit jackpots 4-5 Big 20 plus GT and as They were big have to release them asap Next two days we were fishing around closer edges as Mrs Kapoor got sunburned and we were fishing untill sunshine is on rise but overall they landed 27 fishes and some of them were massive we believe as mr kapoor said see you soon
