Booked a charter with Captain Mac (Joe) because we had previously done a large charter which my son hated. I’m a returning local that moved away and brings my family back to visit remaining family usually annually. We had to take 5 years off due to the pandemic. Our recent trip included a day out with Capt Joe and his first mate Jay. We had a great time. It was well worth the money and we will keep this charter on our list of things to do when we return. Captain Joe knows his stuff and will put you right the fish are biting. We caught quite a few keepers and would recommend this charter to anyone looking for a nice time especially with children. Captain got us on fish immediately.  My son and I spent the day catching fish and had a great day on the water.  Crew is friendly and is great with getting the bait and tackle set up.  All i had to do was real in the fish.  Caught our limit of sea
bass keepers and
even a couple of flounder.

Captain Mac and his crewman, Jay, were absolutely focused on making this fishing trip the best experience as possible. In pursuit of this goal, they went above and beyond. Both were pleasurable to talk to and shared interesting stories. The Captain expertly brought us to amazing fishing spots and the crewman ensured that all labor typically required when fishing was performed by himself instead of the members in our party. If we messed something up, Jay was there to rectify it while fully absolving us of any feelings of guilt. We had no children in our party but I’ve never met a crewman who I think would be a better helper for young or even adult but inexperienced fisherman. I would 100% suggest Captain Mac for your next trip.
