As luck would have it the temp dropped about 20 degrees the night we arrived. The fish didn’t care for this at all, but Chris worked hard and put us on a variety of fish. Drum, trout. flounder and a few other species. My daughter and I decided to book another day and try fishing offshore for seabass and vermillion snapper. That was when the action turned red hot. It was non-stop all day until we waved the white flag and couldn’t reel in any more fish. We limited out on vermillion as well as had a good catch of seabass and triggerfish also. My daughter caught her first amberjack which is quite a thrill. She found out quick why they are nick named wreck donkeys LOL. I highly recommend this outfit for inshore and off. I’ve chartered with a lot of captains through my years and Chris is top notch. We will be fishing with him again soon. The red snapper bite was on fire too even though it’s closed and they all went back. Still a great fight.

Captain was very knowledgable overall, and although we didn’t catch a ton of fish, we had a great experience overall. I also took my son (whose 7 yrs old) and the captain even spent some one on one time with him to teach him a few things about fishing

Wow, we really glad that we went with Short Skirts Sportfishing Charters. Captian Hayden is very experinced and very patience with us. He answered all our questions and helped us caught so many fishes. We also learned a lot during this fish trip. We will definitely go fish again with Captian Hayden and his crews in the future. We can’t wait to try reef fishing next time. Highly recommended this charter company.

The fishing was slow, but it was a beautiful winter day with the sun shining! Hayden took great care of us, and we did manage to catch a few fish even though the conditions weren’t ideal. I would recommend, and use them again!

Booked a last minute trip with Captain Hayden at Short Skirts Sportfishing Charters and what a great decision it was. Our group of 6 fit perfectly on the boat without it being too crowded and with the first 30 minutes captan Hayden put us on the fish. Caught my first bull red and a few sharks!
