Fishing is the plan and fun is the goal. We are great with the most experienced anglers to the angler that has never caught a fish before as long as you want to kick back and have fun. We had Liz and her family in town from Utah, we set out on a beautiful uncommonly calm January morning. I decided to try to catch some small bonitos for bait because kite fishing was not an option for the wind. And it definitely worked out. We put the baits out over a large shallow wreck and pretty soon there after we had a triple hook up on 30+ pound barracudas. Then we just kept putting baits out and caught big kingfish and cero mackerels for the dinner table. Overall a very action packed trip!

Fished this morning with Rob and CJ, we started off drifting with some flatline live baits and a kite out with live baits on it. Hooked a double bomber bonita then caught a few more bonitas and finished it off with a huge Sailfish on the flatline to end the trip.

We had success drifting in the morning with some live baits out covering all depths of the water column. Not having the conditions I like to see as the current started to slack off i decided we were going to slow troll some live baits to make our own current and cover some ground. As we were reeling the last bait in boom a giant sailfish decides to eat our herring after a 45 minute fight that the whole family took part in we landed a 7 foot 90-100 pound sailfish. One of the bigger sailfish I have caught in a while!

Calm seas and bottom fish biting good, we started off anchoring up on a shallow wreck. Had a couple nice bites get us into the wreck, catch a nice African Pompano and mutton snapper then finished the trip off with a 40 pound cobia in light tackle that was about a 30 minute battle.

On our morning trip while drifting with some live baits out we hooked a double sail (two sailfish at once) caught them both and caught a few kingfish and bonita in the afternoon we also caught a sailfish and a couple blackfin tuna
