Charles and his wife were a pleasure to have onboard and they never complained once about the less than average conditions on the day. It was clear they had experience on the water. They caught some lovely fish and a good time had by all.
Marlin fishing starts in January and finishes in April in NZ. They are not here any other time.
Charles was informed of the inclement weather and to his credit and a true fishermen he was keen to go so we went and were rewarded with some decent snapper to over 10 pnds.
All the best to these lovely people and hope to see them again in our summer to try for that Marlin.

Craig and his son Damon were the nicest guys you could ever meet..
Conditions were fair to average but the guys persevered and caught some real quality fish.

When you get a single person book the boat for themselves you know you are dealing with a passionate,experienced fishermen and Ahmed was just that….conditions on the day were marginal and bait was very hard to catch in the dirty water but Ahmed perservered and caught enough to have a decent crack at a kingfish. In what only can be described as extreme conditions Ahmed expertly fought several kingfish with a BIG one to finish the day. The photos say it all…..

Alissa is clearly a passionate fisherchick booking the boat for herself and she expertly played and landed two sizable kingfish in less than average conditions. We only caught two kingfish for her half day trip but they were a very respectable size. I really hope to see Alissa again one day…
