Picked up at 11 and set out to go catch redfish first thing. First spot we stopped at we had our 2 man limit of redfish in about 40 mins. Caught many smaller ones that were released. The next few spots went chasing for trout and flounder but we kept finding more redfish. By the last spot of the day we managed to find some good keeper size speckled trout. All fish were caught on artificial lures.

I had the pleasure of taking Anthony and David out on Tuesday. They wanted fish to bring home after they drove 13 hours down here! Tried to go after splecked trout first light but we couldnโ€™t track them down. So we changed up things and found a pile of redfish cast after cast we were catching reds and black drum. We caught all of them on berkley gulp and jig heads slowly working thr bottom. After we had our limits we went looking for sheepshead and flounder had no luck. But ended the day catching a 23lb redfish that went 38inches long.

Been chasing trout and tripletails this past week seeing them in numbers. Sight casting tripletails in the late mornings with live shrimp. And catching trout first light to anout 10 am. Catching trout on plastics and live shrimp. The water is getting better every day. You neber know what you might catch!

Took out Mr Coady and his wife for two half day trips back to back. The first day we were dealt with slack tide and the trout bite was kinda tough. But we went searching for tripletails and saw 5 of them. We lost one after setting the hook and caught the one in the picture it went 18.5 inches. We caught some small redfish as well on plastics and live shrimp. For day 2 we had strong outgoing tide and where the trout was the day before they werenโ€™t there. The water actually dirtied uo over night. But we ended up finding some sheepshead and some good sized trout on a reef. One of those trout went 4lbs! We caught around 50 fish each day.
