Got out the other night again for an evening trip. The bite had been killer and this evening was no different. We ended up going 6 for 8 on tarpon the action was hot & heavy. It's a great time to fish we often leave a little later in the afternoon/early evening to beat the best. The fishing grounds are mostly empty and will continue to be the next couple of months. We have easy excess to bait that works great so the whole worry of 'finding bait' gets taken off the table, and aside from a storm the weather is fairly calm and ideal. Last minute trips often work out so DM me if you're interested. August fishing for tarpon in the Florida keys is often a great option and can be better even then prime season which this year is definitely the case!

Night tarpon fishing is ?!

Caught 6 tarpon last night! The bite had been nothing short of incredible. Even with all the mini lobster season madness on going. We've been getting tarpon of all sizes fishing close to home. Many of the residents that hang out here all year and there aren't many people targeting them especially in the early evenings. It's one of the best kept secrets of fishing down here. The rest of the month will still yield some great opportunities so drop me a DM if you want to talk about it or book it!

Got our during the lobster mini season craziness and had some good fishing! We went 3 for 5 in tarpon. Weather has been beautiful light winds and lots of fish still around. The fishing is better now than it was in prime season in all honesty. Not a whole lot of pressure either. We often have the evening windows available short notice. If you want to get out after the silver king give us a shout!

Got on some tarpon the other afternoon. The evening trips are still a good bet. Beat the heat and be out for the sunset period where they often fire up. These local tarpon are here all through the summer and fall until it gets cold. And we often are fishing mahi carcasses which makes for easy bait to get so that takes the worry of having bait off the table. Give me a shout lets go catching!

Got out for a full day but we split it in half which i sometimes do this time of year. We had tarpon action in the morning and then again in the evening. Caught a couple for the day and had a few more shots all staying within a few miles. July should remain good for tarpon and last minute availability is a little better. Shoot me a DM if you want to rangle with the silver king!
