We could not have asked for a better captain for this full day of back country fishing.  He had gone above and beyond to make this a special day for everyone on board.  It was my daughters 16th birthday and what a treat it was to be out on the water catching fish! Even though the fishing for EVERYONE in the Keys inshore and offshore were a slow go this week, we had fish on pretty much the entire time. If we were not catching we moved on to another one of his favorite beautiful spots.  We truly had a Fantastic time and would 100% book with him again- he is amazing and has a true passion for this job and it shows!  You won’t go wrong booking with Captain Trentin Leary….. Tight Lines for sure!

Awesome morning on the water with Captain Trentin Leary out of Bud n Mary’s Marina. Texted him the day before and asked if we could make it a priority to go for fish that we could eat, and boy did he deliver!! Trip started at 7am and by 7:15 we had our first snapper in the boat. That trend continued for the next four hours and we ended up with 7 snapper big enough to keep, one nice snook just shy of keeper size, a small barracuda, and countless little snapper we threw back. Fish were still biting at 11:00, (when our trip was supposed to end) and he was as eager as we were to keep fishing and go for “one last cast” about ten times 🙂. Made it back to the dock by 11:20 with big smiles, we definitely would have extended to a full day if we didn’t have prior plans for that afternoon. Back at the marina he cleaned our catch for us which amounted to lunch for five people, huge portions. He was great all around, even took the time to show us baiting and casting tips and tricks after we told him we were interested in learning. We will fish with him again!

Trentin was easy going and easy to talk to. We were in town for a few days and wanted to see the water from a different perspective and do some fishing. My daughter and I are novice (at best) and my son a little more experienced. This trip was perfect and we learned a lot. Caught some great striper and had an amazing time. Highly recommend this trip if your newer at fishing or experienced-either way you won’t be disappointed!!

Trent was an awesome captain and an accomplished young man. He is only 19 but has the maturity and people skills of a 40 yr old. He was knowledgeable and informed. My grandsons who were his age enjoyed him immensely. He was extremely polite and respectful . He told us of his aspirations to someday own his own, larger boat and do tours farther out into the ocean. Ours was an off shore tour but it was great. I hope to come back in a few years when he has his own boat and go with Trent again! If you book with Trent you will have no regrets. Thank you Trent for a great afternoon
