I love catching fish and interacting with my guests. All juvenile billfish caught on Betsy B Charters trips are released to ensure the protection of the species and the local fisheries.
Techniques: Fishing in Barbados is mainly trolling, especially when Fishing for Billfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tunas , etc. I fish downriggers and outriggers with Bsllahoo or Flying Fish bait.

a mid morning charter, saw us departing our mooring, in the Careenage, in Bridgetown, at 9.15 am, for a very enjoyable and successful half day's fishing. We fished along the South/South East coast of the island, with light to moderate winds and calm seas and caught three Wahoo, ranging from 9 to 25 lbs..

In fairness we were fishing out of season and just when Barbados got a deluge of seaweed. The captain and crew worked hard to counter the effects of the seaweed which clearly was an in frequent act of nature. Despite the seaweed and time of year we did land some Barracuda and Mahi Mahi, which the crew did an excellent job of filleting for us. All in all a good half day out.
