- I'm Captain Mike Adkins. I began working on head boats while still in high school, became a full-time mate after graduating college in 2007, and eventually became a Captain in May 2008. I've run charter boats as captain/mate for over 15 years. I have lived and worked from Key West, FL, to North Carolina and everywhere in between, and spent 3 years only fishing in the southern Bahamas. I specialize in trolling, but I'm also an expert on various other techniques.
- Techniques
- Trolling would be my strongest skill set. The last 7 Years I have completed in the Biggest Marlin Tournaments in the US. I feel I am a great all around captain from trolling to bottom fishing. I have a gain a great amount of knowledge trolling for Billfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and pelagic species over the last 7 years.
