- Background
- I grew up down here in Corpus Christi. My dad took me fishing ever since I was a young boy and it has turned into a lifelong passion of mine to teach and encourage people to spend time with their families out on the water enjoying nature and catching memories that will last a lifetime. My business relies on the main principals: safety and training. I inspect the vessels daily to ensure vital systems are working properly and conduct routine emergency drills. I hold a USCG 100 ton masters license, well above the requirement to operate an inshore guide boat. You can be confident that your family's safety aboard my vessel is at the top of my list. You can bet the farm that you will get the trip you paid for. I will shut the doors and throw the keys in the bay before I take a dollar that I didn't earn. Good ethics – you can count on fishing with a guide that respects nature, fishing regulations, and other boaters.
- Techniques
- Techniques vary by target species. Sometimes live bait under a cork is best, other times we might be soaking some bait on the bottom just depends on what time of the year and what we want to catch. I generally provide spinning reel setups but have others if the client prefers. Bringing your own gear is always allowed.
