Captain Luis contacted me few days before the scheduled trip. He sent location. All info was discussed. Everything was provided by him. Water, can cokes, couple of can beers and snacks were provided.  Boat was clean. Bait was prepared in advance which helped when we got on Mahi-Mahi. Caught them fast while the fish were biting due to his preparation. I had 2 family members that never fished before with me. We all had a great experience!!! We all took pictures n videos to remember our experience!!  We did not catch any other species of fish but that’s ok. Captain Luis provided the best backdrop of El Morro w us holding our catch for pictures. Again before he cleaned the fish upon our return. Captain Luis filleted the fish afterwards. I would recommend him to any angler or beginner fisherman. Thank you again!!!

Despite the fish being a bit elusive that day, Captain Luis worked tirelessly. He moved me to several different spots, trying various techniques, and constantly monitored his sonar and local reports to put me on the fish. You could tell he was genuinely invested in me having a great experience, and his effort really paid off. I ultimately landed some great catches thanks to his persistence and knowledge of the local waters.

Beyond his determination, the captain was also incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, making the whole experience enjoyable for me. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and all the gear was top-notch.

We went out in the afternoon under heavy rain at the start
We went to catch live bait and the rain made it more difficult
After several throws our captain managed to catch some and we were off to the channels for some inshore fishing
We changed places and went out to the nose (old town) and had some bites but no catch
Overall we really enjoyed the experience and our captain’s explanations, the boat was great and very stable despite the waves
No fish but a very nice afternoon altogether

Luis helped me surprise my boyfriend with an inshore tarpon trip for his birthday. It was a beautiful boat. Luis was so knowledgeable about the area and fishing. He was friendly and accommodating and we caught some amazing tarpon. Highly recommend Luis and his charter for any unsuitable offshore trip. Very knowledgeable and friendly!

A solid experience with Captain Luis

Overall, we had a good time on this fishing charter. Captian Luis was friendly and knowledgeable. The center console fishing boat / 2 yamaha motors appeared well taken care of and the equipment provided was in good condition. 

We managed to catch 8 spanish mackerel.  The weather was nice, and the scenery was beautiful, which made for a relaxing day on the water. 

I will definitely reach out to Captsin Luis on my next trip to Puerto Rico.
