Winter low tides are still around but spring heat and wind is slowing showing. Water temps are climbing and fishing is heating up. Noticing a lot of finger mullet showing up and schools of drum pushing in. Redfish are still scattered but none the less its been a great time of year to fish. Lots of fish being caught and its still not scorching hot yet. Lets get you on the water for a great time.

As water temps climb and tide rises and falls and we get near the spring time transition we are seeing fish grouped up and on the move. Its great time to be on water. Its not scorching hot yet and the days are enjoyable.

Winter in Rockport TX has hit hard. Tides have fallen faster than expected. It's not even February, and it's extremely low. I've put my focus on bait fishing along flats with deep pockets. Somedays, it's stacked with redfish, and other days, you will locate lots of quantity eating drum on you warmer days when the suns out as redfish tend to push up shallower. Trout fishing still continues to be good, but its a artificial game plan with them since they are lethargic and can have picky feeding patterns when its abnormally cold. Non the less its still a great time on the water. I do suggest dressing accordingly and staying warm for the best experience.
