If you’re looking for great company from a captain who’s gonna work his tail off to put you on fish, this is the guy! Captain Jay literally ran us all over the bay until we found fish… and when we did, we hammered ‘em! 

I’m an experienced fisherman, but my 3 partners were not. Captain Jay was patient with my inexperienced friends but not condescending to me. It was w a fabulous charter and one of the best I’ve ever been on.  Great job Captain Jay!!@

  We had a wonderful half day fishing with Captain Jay of Dauphin Island Inshore Charters.  We left the dock with ample bait, and we were ready to catch some fish, which we promptly did.  The weather was good with a nice breeze to keep us comfortable. 
  We originally released our catches of Speckled trout, Redfish, Crevalle Jack, Black Drum, some Lady Fish, and a few Catfish.  Later, as we began to get hungry, we decided to keep a few of the fish after all.  We ended up keeping some Speckled Trout, a Flounder along with a good-sized 8 pound Tripletail we caught at the end of our fishing adventure. Captain Jay kept us on the fish and moved to different areas when the fishing slowed down or became unproductive.
  Captain Jay expertly filleted the fish we kept and later demonstrated the perfect way to cook them.  We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing trip and the wonderful meal. 
  Captain Jay was always attentive, personable, friendly, and professional.  It was a joy to ride in his beautiful boat and have him as our Captain. 
  I highly recommend him if you are looking for a wonderful fishing experience at Dauphin Island.

My family was on the island for a nice vacation right when they finished school this year. Booked an inshore trip for us and my wife and daughter have never been. Captain Jay took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable and we all caught fish. Kids had a blast and we have fish for tonight. Would book again.

You aren’t gonna find another captain on the water who is as passionate about his job. We have gone fishing many times and they treat it like a job and it shows. He knows the waters, knows the baits, knows the hooks and most importantly knows where to go to catch fish.  You will have a great experience!
