First time fishing trip for my wife, Capt. Jim made her feel very comfortable and was very patient with her. We caught a few types of fish even some we didn’t think we would. Over all great experience and would recommend this charter to all.  Thanks Capt Jim.

Although the target was bonefish, Capt. Jim put us on to some tarpon and I managed to get a tarpon on my fly rod. It was an awesome experience.

Had high winds and captain redirected and we went to calmer waters and caught a great variety of fish and learned some different techniques.

We went fishing out on the reef for 6 hours with Cpt Jim and his wife. We were fishing for yellowtail snapper. They had a really nice boat and equipment. They seemed really knowledgeable. We caught a ton of snapper and they cleaned them for us before we left. I felt like it was a great price point.
Overall a great day fishing. However, I cant say I had a great time with Jim and his wife. He didnt say in his phone call his wife would be going. I am unsure if she usually goes on his charters or just came along because he had a boat full of women.  I dont know if they just dont have a lot of charters of 20s-something women but I just felt like he spoke to us condescendingly. I really didnt like the way he talked to my wife or to his wife. They kind of argued a bit while we were on our trip. I was just kind of like “if I wanted to hang out with a grumpy older couple who argues a lot Id hang out with my parents”. Really just kind of an odd vibe. But it was good fishing.

A great experience from beginning to end Captain Jim was very patient and helpful with a couple of rookies. He was extremely accommodating and we had great fishing. It was wonderful going out of big pine key and really enjoyed our time. Would love to go with Captain Jim again, anytime.
