Great 4 hour trip for my son, his friend (both 12), and me with Captain Mike - he worked hard to make sure that we got the most out of our time. We caught fish consistently, and Mike was great with the boys. Fun outing! I’m looking forward to my next trip with Mike. I certainly recommend him!

Well the weather conditions were not on our side when we first sailed out into the waters of trinity bay; the fog was heavy and there was a chill in the air but the water temperature was set and ready. On our first spot casting out the fish were not quite cooperative with the live shrimp/ popping cork combo, so our professional angler decided to make a move to a spot that he knew was certain to catch some fish. After moving to the spot we hooked up on a couple of trout that were legal keeper sized! That was the start of something spectacular! For a good while we caught some decent fish but the catches started to slowly deteriorate, at that moment our guide Mike decided that it was a good time to make another move. After about 10-15 minutes of riding around the bay Mike saw what looked like a promising sign; bait jumping out of the water. Something that we hadn’t seen all morning! Mike decided that we should drift into the bait, so we did! After that the rest was history! Within a 30 minute span we caught our limit in trout and decided to start catching and releasing due to the fact that our bag limit was full! Little did we know that Mike had one more trick up his sleeve for us. We moved to a spot where Mike knew that the Reds would be at and sure enough he did not fail! Within the time we pulled up to the time the first line was casted we were on the money! Capt.Mike was excellent with my grandkids and took excellent care of them. Made sure life jackets were on at all times. we caught lots of fish but I think the highlight for my grandson was he et him steer the boat as he watched and he LOVED It. Thanks again Capt

Great experience but fish a little scarce.

We had a fabulous trip with Captain Mike just before the holiday.  I’d booked the trip to take my brother from the Seattle area out to experience gulf fishing and couldn’t have picked a better day and boat.  We caught drum, sheepshead, redfish and a limit of trout.  Mike knew where to go and how to fish and his gear was top notch.  We really had a good time and we’ll do this again.
