Being born and raised on the Shores of Lake Erie has blessed me with the chance to spend thousands of hours out on this beautiful body of water I call Home. My walleye fishing obsession started as a young kid when my dad and uncles would take me out with them anytime the weather would permit, casting Golden Nuggets and Erie Dearies to bag our walleye. I was away from Lake Erie for four years as I followed in my father's footsteps, serving our country in the United States Army. During my Army years, I fished anytime and anywhere I got a chance. After my time in the Army, I headed back home to Lake Erie. Let’s make this upcoming Lake Erie fishing trip the most memorable fishing trip ever!

Tough day today on our end! The fish we had two days ago were nonexistent. Had some folks fly in from Oregon to experience lake erie for the first time and although we never slaughtered the fish they still had a great time. They have never seen a wally until today. Pulled 4 lost 2. 125bk dragin mud. The winds the day before really put a damper on the fish but we'll rebound soon!!!

Recap of yesterday's adventure. Launched with the crew from Indiana and made our trek out to around the 3 mile mark NE of the lighthouse. Set up running half bandits and half smithwick top 20's all weighted with 3oz guppy weights 50/20 and 50/10. Made multiple downwind passes crawling at 1.0-1.3 on the fishawk with the waves quartering the port side. Boated 4 between 6 and 9lbs and the rest just solid chunky eaters. It wasn't a fast n furious bite but an awsome way to end this week long of fish catchin weather we were getting! Now back to the cold we go!!

A bit bouncy along with a finicky bite made the evening on the big pond go absolutely awsome with the company of repeat customers from Indiana. They were able to boat their limit with a couple bonus fish thrown in the mix. We lost around 7 fish or so. Trolled custom bandits from Hi Tech Custom Painted Baits LLC Bait Shop and other stock colors like blue dream and taco salad. All baits weighted **hidden content**oz. trolling 29 to 33 fow.

Awsome day out of huron. Started a bit slow but ended up on fire! bandits and crawlers with 3oz, 75bk produced best. North out of the river about 8 miles. The bite has pretty much awsome as long as the winds play right. Fall and winter in my eyes is absolutely the best time to boat a trophy walleye and fill the coolers full of fish for the freezers.
