Captain Tom and his First Mate, Tom (his father), were absolutely awesome! We went on a six hour trip.  Within five minutes of dropping our lines, the fish were hitting.  The first one we pulled in was a 27 inch walleye! We had the boat maximum after just 3 1/2 hours. This was my son‘s first time out on Lake Erie, and they took the time to teach him the ins and outs of fishing for walleye. They had him on the back of the boat helping to net fish which he thought was amazing. These guys are not just knowledgeable, but also have great personalities which made for great conversation throughout the trip. When we got back, they quickly cleaned the fish and sent us home with months worth of fish for our freezer.  We are already planning a return trip and will most definitely got through Triple S again!

Captain Tom and his 1st mate Steve were not only friendly, but they are extremely knowledgeable about where and how to catch walleye.  They love what they do and it shows.  The vessel and gear aboard is extraordinary.  Not only did we all catch our limit, but they cleaned our catch and they had fresh ice to put in our cooler to take the fish home.  It’s a team effort and we want to thank not only Captain Tom and Steve, but Tom’s dad as well. Thank you all! It was a carefree, wonderful experience and a special gift for my brother’s 60th birthday.  We now have an excellent family memory and I am sure we will book another trip soon.  We highly recommend this outfit.

My twelve year old son and I were treated to a perfect day of fishing by Captain Tom and his first mate( Captain Tom’s dad).  We caught over twenty fish, twenty of which we kept.  The boat and equipment were first class and were obviously maintained with care.  The weather was perfect.  But it was the relationship between Captain Tom and his dad which was the defining enjoyment for my son and I on our fishing trip.  My son Christian turned 12 and this was kind of a coming of age father/ son weekend for us and I know Christian felt accepted and kind of “invited in” by Captain “Thomas” (as his dad called him) and truly enjoyed their stories of years past and adventures🙂!  I could not recommend their professional, kind and inviting services more the family and friends!

Captain Tom called me within 10min of originally booking the trip.  Communication was outstanding over the next few days as weather changed.
My two sons (aged 28 and 18) and I arrived at the dock 1 hr ahead of schedule.  We left dock 30min ahead of scheduled departure of 2pm.  Plenty of room for our large cooler, snacks and jackets.  20min ride to our fishing spot and first lines were in the water at 210pm. We fished until close to 8pm and in the last 2 hrs we were comparing any new catch to a potential smaller walleye we had in the live well.  Captain Tom and his dad First Mate Tom were great.  We had 10-12 lines in the water trolling the entire time except for when we had multiple hits when it was tough to keep up.  5 total people on the boat and we cleaned 30 walleye.  We threw back at least that many more.  It was a great day.  A really great day.  Captain Tom will be my go to guy going forward.  Class act from a pair of Tom’s that really wanted our day to be great, and they succeeded.

Went out May 24 on the afternoon trip. We wanted some nice size walleye and Capt Tom and First Mate Tom (Captains dad) didn’t disappoint. Capt Tom was adamant on getting us some nice fish, so he recommended that we launch out of Huron. We ended up limiting out with a number of fish in the 22”, 23”, and 24” range. We were the only boat fishing a wide open area until the passing boats saw us landing fish and took note. The boat, fishing tackle, and electronics were top notch. Capt Tom and First Mate Tom have years of experience on Lake Erie and its shows. They were willing to provide additional tips on using planer boards and the dipsey diver which was much appreciated. My son and I had a great time and the crew treated us like family. Will definitely be making plans for additional outings and I would highly recommend Triple S Walleye Charters to anyone looking for a top notch charter. Fish on!!!
