Bring sunscreen. It gets hot out there. Bring a snack if you think you may need it. You pay for 4 hours of fishing and you get 4 hours of fishing. The brother Cappy picks you up and shuttles you to the boat. Brother Takes you fishing and helps you be successful, and Cappy makes sure you get back to your destination on time and with great conversation. Makes you want to return soon and spend more time.

I would most certainly recommend fishing in West End! "Deep Sea" is only about 500 meters away from shore in West End, which makes for a very short travel time to get into some serious fishing grounds. As we arrived at the Captain's boat dock, we noticed a gathering of fishing boats from various different countries. Captain Enry explained that West End was hosting a Billfish (Marlin, Sailfish) Tournament the very next day and anglers had sailed into West End from different countries to compete. If that doesn't convince you, I'm not sure what will.

I’d say this may be a bit of a borderline time for fishing. It seemed like several boats were all reporting disappointing catches for the day. However, we still caught 5 fish, just not larger ones

Our first time fishing in roatan and didn’t know what to expect. We had a great time just off shore were the reef ended and water got deep.

Set realistic expectations by researching the best months for fishing the species you plan to target. You will catch fish but the size and species will differ greatly depending on the time of year.

Would have loved more time to look around this area. It is a beautiful setting.
