Get ready to discover the exotic waters of Honduras with Roatan Reef Tours! Your captain for the day, Enry Padilla, is a local angler who's been fishing these waters since the day he could hold a rod in his hand. Along with him and his first mate (and occasional captain) Christian Watler, you'll explore some of the most secluded parts of the Caribbean in search of big game species.
You'll spend the day aboard a 27' Sea Devil walkaround boat, equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, tackle, and safety gear. She comes with a private head and ample room for you and 4 other guests to fish at the same time. The crew welcomes kids of all ages aboard and loves keeping them entertained throughout the ride.
The waters between the Honduran coast and the island of Roatan are filled with amazing fishing opportunities. You'll be able to choose between bottom fishing, drifting, trolling, and spinning while targeting a wide variety of species.
You'll encounter big game fish, such as Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Wahoo, and Barracuda. Closer to shore, you'll have the opportunity to reel in the likes of Permit, Bonefish, and Cobia. No matter what you plan on targeting, Capt. Enry and Capt. Chris will work hard to put you on fish and get you hooked up.
You'll be provided with top-quality rods and reels made by Penn and Shimano. Your fishing license is also included, so you can come straight to the dock, ready to fish. Capt. Enry also keeps his cooler stocked with fresh fruit, water, soda, and beer for the adults.
Feel free to bring along some nibbles for the ride, and be sure to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Everything else will be taken care of so you and your family can enjoy a fun outing together.

They picked us up at a pier of our choosing with a warmness i haven’t seen on other trips. Telling us about the island and it’s history as they set outriggers and we embarked into the sunrise. It was a glorious morning on the water. We caught fish and talked about life and children and sports and whatever came up. They were so great with my kids I really got to relax and enjoy the ride with my wife. They made everything easy and when they realized my youngest son hadn’t landed a fish yet, they extended the trip to find some Red Snapper for him to catch. Truly, the kindest hospitality and most fun day my boys will never forget. Thank you Enry and crew! We’ll see you again God willing.

Full Day Trip on May 2, 2026 • 2 adultsBest guys to go with, know everything and anything about Roatan. We had a full day targeting billfish, but seems like only the barracudas were bitting, all part of fishing, but they tried really hard to get get us on a trophy and even got my girlfriend on her first saltwater fish. After, we stopped at a local resturant and at a snorkeling spot too. Guides don’t get better than this.

He's born and raised on the island and knows so much about the local waters and environment. We didn't catch a ton but enough for dinner plus leftovers. The the weather was changing and seas were rough but he was so accommodating with days, times and pick ups. Def recommend

This was our second time with Roatan Reef Tours, and my two brothers and I could not be more pleased!(previous trip was exactly 4 years ago) Colby and Henry were class A professionals that got us on the fish early and often. Hit many Tuna and Barracuda in the first 3 hours and then shifted our focus to bigger fish. Caught some more of the previously mentioned fish and then hooked and landed the 9’ Blue Marlin! What a day for the 3 brothers! Looking forward to our next adventure with them! Strong work by all on “ The Five! “

great crew and boat. Captain picked us up at the cruise port, and brought us back. reasonable charge. no worries about getting back on time. caught decent fish at bad time of year. Captain Enry Padilla grew up fishing off the Honduran island of Roatan. He's been a licensed captain since 2005 and has loved every minute of it. He's passionate about teaching kids how to fish, keeping them out of trouble, and being a positive role model in their lives. Besides fishing, he regularly volunteers in programs for children to keep them in school and away from drugs. His favorite part of the job is seeing the same passion for fishing in younger kids that he had growing up. Capt. Enry invites you and your family on an epic adventure, to create lasting memories, and catch lots of fish off the coast of Honduras!
