We lucked out with an overcast, not so humid day, but when the sun peeked out, it was hot. Wear spf clothing or sunscreen, sunglasses are a must, and pack some snacks and drinks in a small cooler. But chances are, you'll be having so much fun you won't remember to eat or drink any of it

I didn't do my homework and we missed the "open season" by a few days. 21" catch limit was in effect and we put back a ton of fish.

Yes James did an excellent job giving us a day of fishing on Lake Murray. He has a thorough knowledge of the area and provided us with 6 hour of fun with my family.

Just remember it's called fishing not catching. Just come with a good attitude and relax and enjoy what God has given you.

If you ate fishing in the summer be prepared for the heat. Bring plenty of Gatorade it is much better than water. Don't forget a hat.

Use a guide such as Capt Chris (Rod Bendin). And go early in day before it gets hot.
