What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Highlands, New Jersey for the first time?

Ask what kind of fish is in season that you will be catching on the trip our first time booking and we didn't know what was in season but the reason we booked it was because of blue fish and stripers which we ended up catching none of them cuz they was not in season but I guess no regrets it was a good day

if you have children aboard you should book a bottom fishing trip[ so that they will have a lot of action.

Don’t sweat the weather forecast until the day of the trip. We were supposed to Gombe rained and blown out and it turned out to be beautiful other then some clouds

Minutes from the action. Raritan Bay, Sandy Hook, and the Atlantic Ocean. Doesn’t get much better.

There are restrictions on bass and fluke that should be researched before going. Cod is not available at this time, but will be in colder months. The beaches however cannot be beat in the summer.

Nice community. Several charter boats to choose from. October weather was great.
