What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Barcelona, Cataluña for the first time?

For us it was a family experience, which we can definitely recommend - good weather and lots of fun for the kids. For the big catch it is probably not the best season - better to come later in autumn.

The weather has been sunny and beautiful all week and then it rained today for our fishing trip, but we still had a great time. Definitely take Dramamine or some sort of sea sickness medication in case of turbulent waves.

August is HOT in Barcelona. Hot doesn't always translate into great fishing, but we knew that going in. Temper your expectations accordingly.

I would absolutely recommend anglers fishing in Barcelona. This was our first time ever doing anything like this, and we felt safe, we caught a lot of fish, and the kids had a blast.

Definitely a great charter to try. We didn’t get on any big ones but they’re there to be caught and the captain will point you in the right direction.

Fish for whatever is in season and what the guides are having good luck with in that given week.
