I picked up the Sanchez Family along the St. Johns River Walk near the Friendship Fountain Downtown Jacksonville. We fished with Artificial Lures and Live Shrimp. Fishing was Outstanding! I'm expecting this incredible action to continue through late October. Good things Happen Aboard Blue Cyclone!

Austin's Dad treated he and his cousin Triston to an early morning Blitz aboard Blue Cyclone. Both Anglers caught MULTIPLE TROPHY FISH. I imagine they will share memories of this trip for years to come and I feel privileged to have been a part of it. All of our fish came on Artificial Lures with the exception of a Gafftop Sail Cat that ate a live mullet. We have been ON-a-Roll with QUALITY SIZE FISH. I'm expecting MORE GREAT CATCHES to continue Aug, thru October in the St. Johns River.

Machan surprised Jordan with a fishing charter for his Birthday. They stayed at a hotel downtown Jacksonville, I conveniently picked them up along the downtown riverfront. Our Action was SUPERB. We caught 5 Bull Reds, a hefty black drum and multiple puppy drum. Half of our catch was on artificial lures and the other half live shrimp.

The Bite is On, hence I am back on the water looking for 1 or 2 anglers who are looking to experience a SUBPERB Day of Fishing on the St. Johns River. Over the holiday weekend Bull Redfish and Black Drum fishing was OUTSTANDING aboard Blue Cyclone. The depicted fish were taken on Artificial Lure's but I tend to fish with both lures and natural baits. I'm expecting to tangle with plenty of Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Tarpon and more in the upcoming weeks. Traditionally this Great Bite on the St. Johns River continues through October. I'm looking forward to sharing 25 years of Inshore Charter Fishing Experience with you in my Native Waters of Jacksonville, Florida.

Dustin and Nikkiy only had time for a short morning outing so we modified our 5 hour trip to 3.5. I had the boat in the water waiting on them at daylight when they arrived. We ventured into a nearby backwater creek off the Intracoastal Waterway. We quickly started hooking up with upper slot size redfish. The slot size limit in Florida is between 18 and 27 inches and anglers are allowed 1 redfish per person. These strict limits are the reason our fishery is so good. We were fishing the spartina grass edges in an area that was thick with lush shell bars which is perfect redfish terrain in Northeast Florida Backwaters. When we hooked up the redfish schools made large wakes down the shoreline. I let them know that these fish would likely return shortly. Sure-enough a short time later we watched the school return. As the big wakes crossed our path’s we would hook up immediately. It was Jacksonville backwater red fishing at it’s best. We fished 2 spots for redfish with great success and then decided to throw some Plugs for Spotted Seatrout. Dustin was excited to see my new Mercury Pro XS in action. I don’t usually drive very fast with customers on-board but Dustin is into racing boats and he wanted to see how my new 250 HP Pro XS motor performed at Wide-Open-Throttle. We left the backcountry and found slick stretch to safely open her up for a minute in the main ICW. We couldn’t run fast very long because I am still breaking in the motor. We then caught a few spotted seatrout on Cotton Cordel Redin lures and Yum Pulse Jigs in the Fort George River area and we returned to the dock by 10am. So far Spring Break Fishing has been outstanding.
