Celebration turning 6yrs old by having fishing birthday party was a great idea. Learning the basics like casting two different types of rod & reel combos and baiting the hook using worms and minnows! Hot chocolate and dounuts were the choice for snacks that kept the body warm. We had one largemouth bass come to the hook by the birthday boy but got away! All in all we had a great time outdoors.

Teaching untangeling, knot tying, casting and releasing fish. It was a great day and he learned alot. Caught a 3lb Bass and it was the 2nd fish he ever caught in his life.

Today’s Kids Pro Fish School Class was successful. Our new Angler is 11yrs old and enjoyed his 1st catch. He managed to catch BlueGill, Largemouth Bass, Catfish and Yellow Perch with a surprise bonus of a small turtle. He learned how to tie knots, bait the hook, cast different reels, fight fish and unhook fish then release the fish safely. Most of all he practice patience the entire time!

Kids Pro Fish School class was a success today. Parent and kids learned how to Set Up and Cast two different types of rods and reels, tie hooks onto the line, use crickets and worms for bait, and reel in 3 different species of fish. I had the pleasure of teaching a 4yr old named Alex, how to cast, bait the hook, use patiences and reel in some big fish then release them. He caught a mixed bag of Largemouth Bass, Catfish and BlueGill. He faught his fears of slimy worms and he was focused on fishing the entire time. He caught a total of 6 fish, 3 different species. ?
