Fishing is on Fire @ West Point Lake

April 8, 2026

Clients needed more and West Point Lake provided. The weather was 50 degrees and WIndy. The Crappie bite was on fire at 1st light and then died off aroung 8:30am but the action didn’t stop. The Hybrids turned on and they were very aggressive. We ended up with 30+ fish caught. It was great day on the water. Clients tipped well and were very satified.

Cold weather did not stop us

It was cold but we prevailed. Caught some good sized Stripers and Bass.

Fishing Is on Fires @ Lake Alltoona

Clients book to catch fish and thats what we did. Started out trolling and picked up a few slab Crappies. We moved to a different area and got on a few Spotted Bass and Catfish. Overall the fishing was great all morning.

Big Bass

The weather was slightly cloudy / over cast but the Big Bass were agressive all afternoon. Small baits and slow presentation produced big strikes. Land fishing is producing quality fish. Crappies were feeding but wouldnt hit any jigs.

A good morning trip. Caught most fish slowly trolling live Blueback Herring.

Absolutely action packed trip. We traveled 50 miles out and vought massive black sea bass, rednsapper cobia, vermillion snapper, grunts and a ton a bait fish.

Cold and windy today. Without the proper gear from my experience hunting and fishing it would have been tough conditions. Low 40’s this morning and high 52 with staeady winds out of the north most of the day. Had multiple insulated layers and rain/wind suit.

i would say to set up a accountbon the app so that you can contact captain prior to departure so you can be prepared. inwould ask whats biting and what type lures or bait does he suggest. Are the bugs bad do I need spray for bugs and do I need suncreen etc.
