It is that time of year again! Flood Tides occur from Spring through Fall. Generally, these higher than average high tides occur around the Full Moon and New Moon for each month. Throughout the summer we may only get a few opportunities to target these tides. But once we get to the latter part of August and especially through September and October it is pretty much all we do! The low tide approach back in the creeks and up on the mud flats can be plenty fun as well. But the Flood Tide is the novel Lowcountry sight fishing experience.
