The Manistee River has a good number of fish around. I would love to help you tie into one bigger them this one! We have hit some Steelhead and have Coho around us all day. The trout bite is ramping up fast with salmon starting to work the redds.

We ran a little R&D trip to see what the numbers looked like on the Muskegon River. We need rain and a lot of it, even with low numbers we came out a winner! This nice smallmouth and a great 15lb. salmon both liked the look of our thunder stick. Look for a push of fish when mother nature helps us out. ( rain baby, rain) Fishing the early season salmon with crank-baits will wake you up! Just make sure you have a good grip on you equipment or it may just get ripped out of your hands!
