Great full day trip today Saturday May. 25th! We started out trolling for kingfish and we lost 2 fish one broke off and one was lost to human error. Then switched up to bottom fishing and started catching triggerfish. We ended up with 8 triggers and threw back another 10 shorts, then we moved out a little further and put some big baits down for big fish and ended up getting 2 nice Amberjack, a handful of lesser jacks, one Seabass one 34 inch Cobia, One lane Snapper, then the big fish hit!! It took 2 guys to hold the pole but they finally managed to bring up a nice 22+ pound gag grouper! What a fish!! We also we’re catching vermillion snappers while fishing for the bigger ones and ended up with 13 or so of those. We also had to fight through countless massive Red Snapper over 20 pounds. I’m sure we caught over 25 big endangered red snapper!! Come on Noaa Fisheries you got to do something!! All in all it was a great day out in the ocean fishing with these great police officers from South Carolina! Thank you for you Service and Sacrifices you make Everyday!! Happy Memorial Day lol

The inshore fishing has been pretty good when the wind and waves are to high offshore. Big Sheepshead, Black drum, Redfish, jacks and more! Get out there and catch some for yourself.

Beautiful Atlantic Sailfish on a half day trip. We were fishing 6 miles offshore Jacksonville Beach and hooked this 6 foot beauty! She fought a good 25 minutes before we put our hands on her beside the boat and then we released her to fight another day! We also caught Barricuda and Kingfish that we kept for dinner. The Atlantic Red Snapper season was a great success this year! Every trip we hauled back our limit of red snapper with some very nice fish being caught. Our biggest red wws 22 pounds and several over 15 pounds. Hopefully NOAA will open snapper up for more than 2 days next year and if they do then you better book with Sweetlipsfishing charters to get yours.
