First try to book Peninsula Charters, if he’s booked for that time try to change your plans to get him when he is available. We booked an eight hour trip and all three of us limited out on chinook, halibut and coho.

There are limited bag limits and size limits, which isn't an issue if you're a sports fisher and it's important for the fishery as a whole. We took home one terrific salmon and caught and released way more.

Check the regulations to plan your days when certain catches become available. The area was opening on the ocean to more fish after we went on our trip.. .
And the opposite was true for we also were fishing for trout and the rivers in the area were closed the day after we arrived! Timing is everything depending on what you want to catch.
