I don't mean to downgrade and rate a 4-star but I wish I could rate it 4.5 because it was a really good trip but to get a 5-star (great) rating, it would mean we all got our limits on our preferred target fish. Unfortunately the weather prevented that. What can you do...

Go with captain Jeff Richardson, he is great with people of all ages and is a great teacher. He makes you feel very comfortable and has a very positive attitude that is very encouraging and never makes you feel bad or disappointed in your ability or skill level in fishing, plus he has great tips that help a lot!

Fun trip, I wouldnโt arrive much early as the run is just getting ramped up mid June. If possible try and time your arrival between tribal and commercial netters. Friendly laid back town.

Make sure you bring a cooler and Ice if you plan on keeping fish to cook during your stay or bring a way to store and transport it til you get back to your lodging. It is chilly on the water so bring more layers than you are expecting to need. Rain gear would also be a great idea to have on hand if necessary.
