May 1st KingSize Adventures Fishing Report, Tides are getting better and bite windows a bit longer this week and with the Recent opening of Rockfish and LingCod the fishing will be great for everyone including kids. Salmon are taking Gibbs Skinny G's and Wee Gee's Squirts and AP-Sandlance spoons, 3.5 Coyote also working, try going to 52 inches behind the flasher for Spoons and about 30 inches for squirts. Salmon mostly in the 105-120 foot depths but as the surface temp approaches 52F they will start to move into the shallow waters to chase Sandlance, mid may to mid june also known for small baby squid so short (cut 1/2 the length off a hoochie) in pearl or rootbeer color about 34 inches behind the flasher will work as well. Halibut taking salmon Bellies, large herring and of course their fave Octopus. 4 oz gibbs jig head and "Smarbaits" swimming jessie the key for easy Rockfish limits.

Halibut season is now open and some smaller keeoer sized fish sround and salmon fishing is very Hot tight now tides are big and a bit challenging for the next few days but then let off gor easier fishing
