We had a slow day, but the conditions were great and the scenery was beautiful! Bring snacks, more warm clothes than you think you might need, comfy shoes and a sense of humour!

Salmon Catcher Charters Toronto Ontario
I don't mean to downgrade and rate a 4-star but I wish I could rate it 4.5 because it was a really good trip but to get a 5-star (great) rating, it would mean we all got our limits on our preferred target fish. Unfortunately the weather prevented that. What can you do...

Great place to experience BC fishing, Cptn. Morgan of Captn’s sportfishing was the nicest most professional guide! This being my first time charter fishing I wouldn’t look for anyone else to go with! Morgan is your man!!!

Go with captain Jeff Richardson, he is great with people of all ages and is a great teacher. He makes you feel very comfortable and has a very positive attitude that is very encouraging and never makes you feel bad or disappointed in your ability or skill level in fishing, plus he has great tips that help a lot!

Fun trip, I wouldn’t arrive much early as the run is just getting ramped up mid June. If possible try and time your arrival between tribal and commercial netters. Friendly laid back town.

It's important to note that fishing doesn't always lead to catching. We were very lucky to have such great guides to get us on the fish. Nanaimo is a great spot where you can get on the fish without having to go on and hour long boat ride.

He will also answer other questions, if he can, regarding fishing in BC. His experience as a guide is extensive. My fellow fisher for the day was an experienced Salmon fisherman (rivers) and he was extremely impressed with the charter.
