Wahoo Sport Fishing Quepos
The marina was really nice and easy to get to using Waze. There was a secure parking garage and the shops were nice and the dock area very well maintained. Parts were newly constructed We were impressed!

For us it was a great experience in July because we got calm seas and only rain on our way back. Weather in CR is unpredictable but for us it worked out perfectly

Don't think you know more than the captain. Listen to there advice, go where they recommend and fish for what they recommend. Bait fish, why spend time catching bait fish? Because the fish you are fishing for like live fish and the little time you spend doing that usually pays off!

Unfortunately we are here during a Red Alge bloom. It made fishing a little difficult, but when we started to hit the Tuna it turned around.

It's the rainforest. Don't be surprised if it rains or is hot and humid. The drop off of the continental shelf is over 20 miles off shore. If you're going off shore expect a very long boat ride.

It went really smoothly. They are renovating the parking lot to the marina but there were extra spaces. The marina is set up with a great spot to meet your captains so no worries about finding the boat in the AM.

The tuna and sailfish were a fantastic experience. Several boats around us not catching fish , as I said before they know how to catch them . We hope to come back next year for another wonderful day on the ocean .
