Just one important thing: Take seasickness pills before the trip! Trust us — it makes a huge difference. Seasickness can really ruin the experience if you’re not prepared. For Dorado July was a great time of year for fishing. Sounds like September and October for white marlin would be the preferred time frame. Just need to reach out to Captain Edgar ahead of time to know the best times for the fish you are after!

It was an awesome day on the water! Beautiful conditions - some wind, lots of sun (low 80s), minimal rains and various wave sizes depending on how far out we went. There was a lot of seaweed that may have either helped or hindered us since the captain had to avoid large patches, but we also hooked some fish around these patches.

Seas were pretty rough so make sure everyone in your party is good with 4-8 foot wave range. Ours was 4-6 feet and frequent.
