Champions! Roatan International Fishing

This event took place on September 15-17 2023 with 3 incredible days of fishing for the Roatide team catching a total of 6 wahoo and accumulation of 173 points making it to the top spot within 73 boats on this years tournament. Hard work and dedication paid off, the guys were ready and prepared and did not ever feel too confident to sleep on it for a minute. We did our best to take this 1st place prize home this year and thank God we did it! Thanks to all that participated, we look forward to next year!

Offshore Fishing Trip

We caught barracudas, blackfin tuna, bonito, rainbow runner and red snappers on our half day morning fishing trip, with our clients from the cruise ship. And then had it cooked up for them to enjoy their fresh catch at local restaurant after fishing.

We went offshore to fish some of our favorite fishing grounds, We caught King Mackerel, Barracuda, Blackfin tuna and Red snappers.

If you have your heart set on catching a specific species do your research. Bonefish are difficult to catch. We didn’t know how to fly fish before this trip and it is not as easy as it looks in movies but can be learned.

The real big fish are seasonal. Our Captain knew what was in season and put us on the fish. If you are after a specific species make sure you are there the right time of the year for that fish.

The water was beautiful and we hung a very big fish but was unable to land it. The captain worked hard to get us on fish but we were unsuccessful. Better luck next tile.
