Remember sometimes you may not catch anything at all. As anglers you know this and for first timers do not expect to catch a fish right away or at all. Enjoy yourselves, relax, and have fun- you'll have a good chance of dolphins and sea turtles!

Normally the cold current comes through in April. It was early, led to tough fishing as the clean blue water was way out 35-45 miles (way beyond the range of most charters). But that's fishing. Reach out and discuss your fishing trip hopes and expectations with the captain. Be ready to shift plans based on what the area is actually producing.

The boat had plenty of cold beverages for us. We did bring our own lunch, 7 hours on the water is a long day. So bring lunch!

Everyone should remember it's fishing not catching. The great crews will continue to strive to catch fish by changing bait and lures when it seems dead for hours. This time it panned out for my trip.

Absolutely! It was a great inland trip. Uli speaks excellent English! We have done both inland and deep sea in many differ t locations. And honestly Uli is one of our top guides ever!! They worked hard to bring in the catches! Wonderful for first timers or long time fishermen!

Big Ben Sport Fishing And Charters 36'
There can be very big swells and a lot of water action. That was the case for us first thing in the day. The boat was small as we were a small party and it was rolly early on in the day. It may be uncomfortable for some folks who aren't used to that and some may be better off to book a larger boat with a bigger party.
