get to the marina early an hour if possible because of Uber cancellations and the security at the marina and the distance from the gate to the boat and leave time to run a credit card over a phone. also take two Dramamine at least two hours before and plenty of sunblock.

A longer trip is necessary for the sportfishing because the time of the run out is more than an hour. Also, be careful of the wave conditions, even in a 40' vessel we still had a rough ride, and some of the party were seasick.

Take even more precautions than we did to not get sea sick!! * We didn't drink the day before, took Dramamine the night before and the morning of and still got sick, unfortunately! Yet, the crew was amazing understanding!! I wish I knew their secrets to not get sick!!

It was a windy day, and as we expected, the water was choppy. No one in our group has problems with motion sickness, but this would not have been a trip to take if you did.
We were told that December was slower than other times of year, but we had plenty of action.

I recommend the captain and his vessel!
We were 7 people
5 adults and 2 children and it was super peaceful and pleasant!
The microwave wasn't working and we couldn't heat the food for the children!
But that didn't affect the experience at all!
I recommend it once again...

Understand the season your in and what type of fish can be caught. You canโt catch all the fish that are targeted if it not the season for the fish but itโs still possible to get lucky. You will be doing a lot of trolling and trying different spots to catch the big fish.

Definitely more time gives you more chances to get on fish. Also, you will get a great workout from just one or two big fish.:)

I would only say that i would have preferred trolling a bit longer in search of bill fish and mahi and tunas as was my goal catch

Sunscreen (lotion not spray) for the top of your feet, nose and face, motion sickness pills (I know I need them), sunglasses and patience. Itโs called fishing not catching for a reason

Seas are pretty rough in February. Recommend you take Dramamine. If you want to catch some fish for dinner, make sure the captain stops at a reef for snapper, grouper, etc.
