Fishing has been great the past month. The coho run has slowed down the past few days but hoping the second run of salmon fires up soon! Bottom fishing has been very solid, halibut, cod, rockfish have all had great appetites on our full day offshore trips. We have another 6 weeks left in the season and some availability late august and early september, quit wishing and come fishing!

Bottom fishing has been amazing lately with lots of halibut, cod, and rockfish caught on most of our full day halibut trips! We even started seeing the silver salmon in solid numbers for early run so we hope it only gets better and better in the coming weeks!

The past week we have had a negitive tide cycle and the fishing has been phenomenal! Great fish counts on Halibut and Rockfish. Our largest fish this week has been just over 100 pounds with several nice 30-80pound fish aswell. Halibut are moving in with the bait fish, its a great time to be on the water!! -capt bob

Just have a great time, and don't be disappointed if you don't catch anything right away. Listen to Gabriel and follow his directions...my 17 year old had his first time fishing and took 3 hours to get his first catch, than caught 3 more in the next hour!!

Excellent experience! Great boat and Captain Noah knew exactly where to go to make sure everyone got their fish. The music, vibe and attitude on the boat was professional and fun. Parker was also terrific. His skills with the gear and the fish were impressive! Perfect day.

It's a great trip, but don't expect huge halibut. I've always heard about big halibut in AK, like 50 lbs to 200 lbs. So I thought catching a halibut like that was a good possibility. However, I think that's very unlikely these days fishing out of Seward.

Blue Ice Alaska Charters – Salty Loot

Weather and views was gorgeous on June 19th. It’s a small boat so you’ll do a lot of rocking and rolling out there even in calm waters. Take a bonine before you depart. Bring a sandwich and plan to enjoy the experience and just have fun. You’re on the water fishing in Alaska, don’t get much better than that.

Sockeye run is on, kings too. Only big risk is the weather can be a little chilly and wet, but it’s Alaska so I’ll always take better fishing first.

Seward is gorgeous, enjoy! Make sure that you get your licenses bought before hand. It's a long boat trip out, maybe up to 2 hours. Bring food, bring entertainment (or just get outside on deck and enjoy the beauty.
