Fresh Crystal River Fishing Reports

Took two amazing veterans out for the first annual take a soldier fishing tournament out of Crystal River Florida. We had a phenomenal day on the water, catching all types of fish.

Double trouble: Two of my repeat customers dan and gigi had a great day catching some nice mid slot reds. After we had our fill of redfish we bounced around the rocks catchking some snapper and grunts to finish out the day.

Had Teresa and her crew on the boat today and we voted a whole bunch of fish. Snook, reds, flounder, drum, grunts, trout, and sharks.

Had Josh and his crew in the boat and even though it’s the end of the skeleton season and these gentlemen still managed to hit their limit in about three hours. We jumped around to maybe four spots about 40 minutes per spot and they did pretty good.

The early bird gets the worm: There isnt many things that I enjoy more than a sunrise in ozello it is one of life simple pleasures that i have come to truly appreciate and the fact that i get to share it with my awesome customers makes it that much better. We started early this morning and didnt waste anytime getting into the action. The red fish bite was consistent but they did make us work to find our slot fish. Once we had a few reds in the bix we ran out to the rocks and filled the cooler with snapper and grunts. We ended the day back at the dock before noon and just in time for lunch.

Had Keith, his wife Lisa and her borther Jerry on the boat today. Not gonna lie the bite was tough today, more than it probably should’ve been with the weather. However, we did boat with a nice keeper red, a couple of keeper trout, two sharks and a few other small things. All in all he went home with dinner for his wife and her brother, and they look like they had a great time today.
