it’s fishing not catching so there’s a lot of downtime but when the reels starts screaming and the chaos begins, that’s

Fishing was tough across the fleet that day. Wasn't for lack of trying by our Captain. All tricks and a lot of miles were put on trying to get us hooked up.

We also fished October 2. We raised a marlin on 9-30, but failed to hook up. Fish at least two days, landing a billfish anywhere takes a few hours on the water. The price to fish Kona is cheap compared to everything else there and you have lures in the water as soon as you leave the marina and weather and ocean are pleasure. Remember sunscreen.

Be prepared for a great time and go out with Seth. He worked hard to find us the best spot and altered his original plans for where we were going based on how the fish were biting to make it the best experience for us. One bit of advice is when reeling in follow what captain says for the right amount of drag, continuous pressure when reeling a fish in and you can have a great time.

Very fishable, leeward water so not often rough or unable to go out due to wind or waves. Good place to blue water fish if succeptible to motion sickness and typically in sight of shore.
