Got away Saturday morning for a fun trip with my father in law and fellow guide Brandon Wingate. Lots of rock on topwater and a nice trout. Then we switched over to target trout and had a great morning on them. Lots of big females we released to spawn and catch again!

Uncooperative weather this morning, while sight casting for cobia, wind and sea conditions led to poor visibility. Saw lots of rays and picked off a few stripers early on. We were rewarded by resident peregrine falcon on the American Mariner. He was very cooperative in allowing photos.

Started with some nice fish in the mid 20,s on topwater plugs. Also saw this lityke guy looking for some gish as well. Followed up by some hot jigging in deeper water. Saw the largest pod of dolphins Iโ€™ve ever seen this evening on a family trip to the Oxford fireworks.

Spectacular nature in the area, lots of wildlife, including fish, rays and bald eagles. Had a great time targeting Rockfish on an afternoon trip with Lures. Anybody from out of town should give Chesapeake Bay a try on light tackle.
