Be sure to go at least once with a Charter Captain who is experienced in fishing the Detroit River so he knows the current and specific areas to go to find fish. Met others that day who had gone out on their own and caught nothing.

We caught 3 walleye and a multitude of perches - small - so probably go twice to increase chances of catching a sizeable one.
Was a pretty good day ln the water anyway - with a very enjoyable Eric.
