I think the count was 29 bluegills for that 10-year-old girl! and we lost track on the older sister. total around 80 bluegills that morning. Not a dull moment for the gills that morning.

Blue gill bite is on.

We had a good day on the water with the bluegill fishing. With 4 bonus small mouth 17" to 19/34 a flat head catfish, freshwater drum. and 2 saugers we forget to take photos of.

Be sure to book plenty of time. The only thing I’d change would be to fish longer with Joe so we could try more spots!

This was a mid-November trip and it was a gorgeous 50 degree day with no wind. It was still chilly on the water. Fish were a little slow to bite but then they started biting right before dark.
