Took some good folks from California out on the water today and lemme tell ya… they showed up at the right dang time. The bass are in full prespawn feed mode and they are straight up chewin’. From the first stop this morning it was rod bendin’, drag squealin’, and folks hollerin’ every few minutes. Those prespawn bass are fattenin’ up and they were hammerin’ baits all day long. After highs in the 70s yesterday and a stormy night today was in 40s with a dingy lake we hunted the clearest water i could find and we Boated 20 fish in 2 hours on my tight line rig this afternoon.
