Couple swings & misses till Adam closed some deals this morning. Definitely a challenge for the crew this morning to compete with huge schools of bait the lake trout were chopping on. If I was a fish I would definitely blow by those fake plastic swim baits to hammer those scrumptious alewives too!! ?j

Well last year in July, I tried to put this talented young fisherman on his first lake trout. Well that didn’t happen in 2023 due to crappy weather conditions and stained water. So today’s trip was on this Captain’s promise for a make up in 2024. Well I’m here to tell you this 8 yr old is a fisherman!! He rocked & rolled in those South wind waves and managed to catch his first ever lake trout!! On ?!! ☘️i
