Fresh Bluffton Fishing Reports

Probably would say to ask your Captain what is best fish to fish for when your there.

Yes, weve done shark fishing each year in june/july in hilton head and every year catch 4-6+ sharks or sharks/rays/etc

It was fantastic. Not sure what you would need other than water or sun block maybe. We were too busy catching shark to even think about either. ?‍♂️

My skill is limited, was honest and the Captain built the trip around that information. AM is what I like but the tide is what you want, movement so the fish are biting. Best of luck.

Don’t go in august. Water is too hot to catch fish. Captain was good but he can’t control the weather.

Our Captain indicated that August can be tough especially lately with the warm water and tides. We didn’t have a great deal of luck on our trip, but that’s fishing. We understood that there was no guarantee to catch fish. We had a great time regardless.

I think that the fishing in Bluffton is perfect if you are just wanting to catch fish! It’s fairly busy if you’re inshore Id expect to be taken into some creeks. Overall, highly recommend for children or first timers because you can be secluded

Captain Bill was very entertaining and finally we caught a fish, but that is fishing? I would use Captain Bill again, when there.

Just be reasonable in what you expect from something wild and free roaming
