Largemouth bass are up shallow on beds spawning. We been catching most our fish sightfishing spawning bass and catching roaming bass using weightless trick worms

Steve and martha came out in hopes to add to there tournament they had against there family. And they did just that. Steve added a 8.5lber to his score and martha picked up a couple bedders as well.

There are fish shallow and deeparound rocks, brush, docks, timber, creek swings. Drop shot is the number one bait for catching fish. Bigger fish are coming from a compact jig around creek channels. Welsh is a power plant lake. Fish are in pre spawn. They will be on beds im thr next few weeks. Fish are eating Texas rigged worms and craws, heavy jigs, crank baits, soft jerk baits. Bed fishin mania!

Robert and steve came out for 2 day trip. First day we covered numbers catching fish anywhere from 2lbs to 7lbs. Robert lost a 7lber by the boat, so day 2 was all about revenge. And he got it! Robert landed a 9lber and beat his personal best by 3lbs
