We caught our limit in king mackerel. The week prior the seas were too rough to fish, we caught one of two nice days in a spell of bad weather days. You just have to be aware of which fish are in season and cautious of the weather.

Port canaveral is a great place to fish out of. There is ample free parking close to the dock. Several restaurants to eat at when you get back from your fishing trip. Sunrise bait and tackle shop had a good selection of everything you need for a fishing trip and it also had nice clean bathrooms

Go out with Chad on an early morning trip! You won’t be disappointed. if you dont fish often you will catch species you haven’t caught before. I caught the biggest fish of my life granted im inly 16 and have more fishing to come, but never the less your first 8 lb fish feels like 20lbs 10/10 highly recommend.
